EDEN PRAIRIE, MN (October 14, 2015)  During one of the most well attended produce industry events of the year, representatives at Robinson Fresh will be exhibiting new products and innovations at booth #2035 at PMA’s Fresh Summit on October 23-25 in Atlanta, Georgia.

Among a wide variety of fresh fruit and vegetable items displayed, Robinson Fresh will be highlighting its new Glory Foods® Power Essence™ line. The line includes three unique greens blends that include both traditional cooking greens and nutrient-dense leafy greens, including a 10-ounce bag of kale and shaved Brussel sprouts, a 10-ounce bag of kale, collard, and turnip greens, and a 13.25-ounce bag of kale, spinach, and chard.

“Power Essence was launched in response to consumers’ continued request for innovative new products and a heightened interest in healthy food,” said Drew Schwartzhoff, director of marketing at Robinson Fresh. “At our booth, we will be mixing up smoothies, using Glory Foods® Power Essence™ blend recipes, and handing out other samples.”

Although bagged greens have experienced heightened popularity for quite some time, the Glory Foods® Power Essence™ line offers customers a new combination of bold flavors that can be used in a variety of different ways such as in a recipe or as a component in a salad or smoothie. Each bag of Glory Foods® Power Essence™ blends feature a different recipe to offer consumers ideas on how to use the versatile product in their daily meals.

“We are excited to offer yet another item that is both convenient and healthy,” said Bruce Bolton, supply manager at Robinson Fresh. “Working with various development teams during the creation of these blends, we’ve focused on creating unique flavor profiles and developing interesting recipes to enhance the customer experience.”

During the Fresh Summit, Robinson Fresh will sponsor the PMA Foundation’s Women’s Fresh Perspective Breakfast and honor three standout employees during Produce Business’ Rising Star Reception. Representatives from C.H. Robinson will be on-site in the Floral Pavilion at booth #3847 to speak with attendees about the company’s temperature-controlled over-the-road, ocean, air, and managed transportation services.
